This material combines 12 μm metallized PET (MPET) film, adhesive, and a selected paper substrate. It can run as a facing or liner material in corrugated-board production when paper grade, adhesive, and production parameters are properly matched.
The finished surface supports moisture and oil resistance, reflectivity, and thermal-insulation performance while reducing the need for secondary lamination during downstream box converting.
Key features
- Moisture- and oil-resistance support
- Reflective surface for thermal-insulation applications
- Can be used as corrugator liner or facing material
- Helps reduce secondary lamination steps
Applications
- Cold chain
- Fresh produce
- Takeaway
- Pizza
- Insulated e-commerce
The reflective layer is metallized PET (MPET) film, not solid aluminum foil.
